AEBA Cares presents the First-Annual AEBA Hit-A-Thon | 2025 World Series edition
The AEBA Cares Hit-A-Thon is Arizona Elite Baseball Academy’s primary World Series fundraiser and is the ONLY fundraiser that directly supports our players, coaches and their needs for the youth World Series they will attend in June.
The AEBA Cares Hit-A-Thon will take place during the entire month of May for ALL games, bringing together our athletes, families, and community members for a fun and exciting last month of the Spring program. With over 45 players participating, this event will raise critical funds to support our program. We are incredibly grateful for your ongoing support!
This month-long challenge is a fun and exciting way to support our players while they showcase their skills on the field. Each player will have the opportunity to raise funds through donor pledges based on their performance in 8-15 ball games during the month. Donors can choose to support their favorite athlete by pledging a set amount for various stats or by making a flat-rate donation.
Pledge Categories:
Donors can choose to pledge based on points in the following performance categories:
Hits – For every hit a player records = 1 point
Runs Scored – For each run the player crosses the plate = 1 point
2-Out RBIs – For each run batted in that happens with two outs in an inning = 1 point
Team Wins – For each team win throughout the month = 3 points
Home Runs – For each home run the player hits = 4 points
Donation Options:
Per-Stat Donation: Donors can pledge a minimum of $1 per point.
For example, a donor may choose to pledge $2 or $20 for each point.
Flat-Rate Donation: Donors who prefer to make a one-time contribution can also provide a flat-rate donation. This can be any amount that feels right for them to support the player and the team.
Goal: Our goal is for each athlete to raise between $400 and $500 through their pledges. These funds will support the team's travel expenses, accommodations for the World Series, player development programs, and much more.
How It Works:
Collect Pledges – Players will reach out to friends, family, and supporters to collect pledges for the selected stat categories or to secure flat-rate donations.
Track Performance – Throughout the month, as players participate in games, their performance in these categories will be tracked.
Donors Pay Based on Stats or Flat Rate – At the end of the month, players will report their final stats, and donors will pay based on their pledges—either per point or as a one-time flat donation.
This is a fun way for our players to engage with their community while raising funds for their development and team needs. Your support is greatly appreciated, and every contribution makes a difference!
Example of How It Works:
Let’s say you’re supporting one of our players, Jake, who plays in the 12U division.
Jake's Stats for the Month:
Hits: 10 x 1 point each = 10 points
2-Out RBIs: 5 x 1 points each = 5 points
Runs Scored: 12 x 1 point each = 12 points
Home Runs: 2 x 4 points each = 8 points
Team Wins: 7 x 3 points each = 21 points
Total Points = 56 points
Your Pledge: You decide to pledge $2 per point for Jake.
At the end of the month, here’s how your pledge would break down:
Total Donation: You would donate $112 based on your per-stat pledges.
Alternatively, if you'd prefer to make a one-time flat-rate donation instead of pledging per stat, you can simply donate a set amount of your choice—say, $100—which still goes toward helping Jake and his team.
This format gives you the option to support Jake in a way that works best for you, while also helping him and his teammates raise funds for their World Series and team travel expenses!

Let’s rally together and turn every hit into a home run for our Athletes.
